Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death among aging individuals in the United States. A team of MIT researchers has identified a form of magnesium that targets correctable factors involved in Alzheimer’s onset. It concentrates more efficiently in the brain than conventional magnesium, rebuilding ruptured synapses and restoring neuronal connections. In one experimental model, this superior magnesium-L-threonate induced a 100% improvement in long-term memory!
